Gone ForeverAs she lie in my arms,Gone Forever
she looked up at me. She gathered what strength she had left, and with her last breath wished me farewell. I hugged her close, as her life slipped away. Minutes ticked by, and i clung to her limp body. Hoping that i could bring life back to her, that i could reverse the tragic end. As I finally put her lifeless body to the ground, I realized how empty i now was. I wandered aimlessly, Wondering where to turn. There was no one to turn to, none there to comfort me.
